Disneyland... again!

Disneyland has fast become one of our favorite places to visit thanks to the season passes that we recently received. We are averaging about once a week- lol!
Alex's favorite ride is the tea cups and poor Ryker is the only one willing to go on it with him because he spins them so fast!!
Ryker love's California Adventure- Bug's Land has these little water play areas that Ryker just can't resist splashing around in. He is such a sucker for a puddle!
Everett is such a trooper! He is always so content just hanging around in his sling while we tromp all over the park. He has actually been on a few rides too- but no favorites yet :)
And I like Pirates of the Carribean- it's cool, dark, and relaxing!! :)

Pumpkin Patch

We took Tigger & Pooh to the Tom's Farm Pumpkin Patch for a little photo op. It turned out really cute. For some reason, the red tent that the patch is held in put like an orange glow in all the photos but it worked. Who would have thought- orange works with halloween colors- lol!

We have been reading Ryker lots of Halloween books so he is all geared for "Happy Ween" as he calls it. Everett thinks we are looney- but that is ok, Ryker thought we were nuts too when we made his dress up as a cow for his first Halloween- lol! The mad cow from California! :)

But the photos turned out really cute and the boys are ready for Halloween!!! :)

Santa Ana Zoo

Ryker went to a birthday party at the Santa Ana Zoo on Sunday, October 5th and it was so cute!! They had a choo-choo train that he rode twice, a carousel (he rode the hummingbird- lol), a giant playground, on top of all the monkeys and animals to see! We might just have to steal this idea for somebodies 3rd birthday party next September :)
Ryker sat at the big-kid table all by himself and ate his little slice of cheese pizza. Even when all the other kids ran off, he didn't want to move and lose his place. It was very cute- he is becoming such a big boy!!

Ode to Everett

I just love these pictures of Everett! Just wanted to post a couple pictures of him because he is just getting so big!! He "talks" like crazy and makes these silly little monkey noises :-)

His temperment is very mellow and happy- it takes a lot to make him mad or cry. Usually only a squeak when he is tired or hungry. We sure do love our little Rhett :-) or "Baby Wett" as Ryker calls him- lol!

Disneyland

October 2, 2008

We took the family to Disneyland for an entire day excursion! The whole place was decorated for Halloween and Fall and it looked awesome!! Nothing gets you pumped up for the holidays like the Disney decorating committee! (: I am still trying to recruit them to come to my house to do some holiday decorating :)
Ryker, of course, loved every minute of it! He loves the Bug's Land in California Adventure- the balloons, the lady bug cups, the chew chew train, and the water area where the water squirts him. He was pretty sad that he was too small for the bumper cars- maybe next year! But daddy did take him on the tea cups a few times- Grammy and I were wondering if he was trying to make him puke. We decided once Ryker is 42 inches tall (he is 35" right now) we would have to take him to Disneyland for his birthday for a 2 day excursion so he could go on all the "big boy" rides. Until then- it's Dumbo and the railroad for us! :) Daddy got worn out HOURS before Ryker did. That little boy has some serious energy!! Ryker was scared to death of Mickey and Minnie- it was hilarious!!! He was trying desperately to escape from their sight. We would tell him that he needed to say "good-bye" first so he would yell "Bye Mee-Mouse" "Bye Minnie" and then try to escape- ha ha! It made for some cute photos :)
Everett even joined us on a couple rides too when he wasn't sleeping. He snoozed quite a bit while we were there! But he is such a laid back and tolerant baby that he couldn't care less what we were doing. We were questioning bringing him since he is only 3 months- but while we were there, we saw babies even younger! Some looked pretty fresh- like they came straight from the hospital! Yikes!
Now that we have season passes, I am sure we will have many more trips to Disneyland in the near future. Especially as the weather gets cooler... nothing worse than getting cooked in the sun all day!
