Oak Glen

11-6-2008

We drove up to Oak Glen in Yucaipa. It is super cute! We went on a Thursday (since Alex is working weekends) so a lot of the stuff was closed- mostly little kiddie stuff for Ryker- but there was still a lot to do and it was so nice up there! The weather was beautiful- it was like we were on vacation in the mountains. It has such a cute little country feel.

Ryker got a giant pickle- lol- it was huge!! He did end up eating half of it- but he smelled like a big pickle for the rest of the day :)
Alex was excited that every store sold carmel apples :)
I might be addicted to the mini apple cider donuts- so good, you KNOW that they can't be good for you. But so good.

Ryker loved it up there- every time we moved on to the next farm, he was say "another farm"- but it came out more like "nutha fawm". It was cute :)
Fun family day!

He rolls over!!

Everett is officially a rolly-polly! He rolls over!
He absolutely loves his little aquarium floor gym and now he can roll from toy to toy- too cute!!

Everett is 4 months old!!!

Our little baby Rhett is 4 months old! Hard to believe that this little guy has been around that long- seems like yesterday he got here :)
Doctor says he is perfect! 13 lbs. 13 oz. (28 percentile) and 25 inches (80 percentile)~ long and skinny like his big brother :)
And now that Rhett has hit the big 4 months- it is time to start the rice cereal!! And he LOVES it! I remember Ryker spit it out 90% of the time- but not Rhett, he gobbles it up! It is pretty funny- he just can't seem to get enough!
We are very proud of our little Rhetti-spaghetti, he is growing into such a happy little guy :)

Lazy Days @ Home

Sometimes I like to just tortue the family and take tons of photos of the boys at home :) Sometimes I get some really cute shots- sometimes not. Here are a couple photos I took this week at home that I thought turned out cute :)
The adorable little Halloween outfits that they boys are wearing were made with love by our good friend Jessica in Texas. She was sweet enough to make the boys matching outfits for Halloween and she is going to make them candy cane outfits for Christmas- too cute!!!

Everett has just discovered his floor gym and he loves it now! It has all sorts of cool little links and doo-dads that he can chew, twist, and play with. He really is such an independent baby! He can play down there and just amuze himself~ very unlike his big bro! :) But we love Ryker anyways! :)

Ryker loves to hold the baby (even though we just set the baby in his lap when he is sitting) he still says "I hoded da baby"- ha ha! These first sentances that he has been using are a crack up! He is definitely getting so much better at stringing along his words and making sense :)

Halloween 2008

For Halloween this year I took the kids to the Halloween Carnival at Friends Christian Church- my old alumni. They have the coolest set up. All the games are free and you win candy- plus, they have a tiny tot section for the smaller players. Rides are all you can take for $5.00.
Ryker was Pooh and Everett was Tigger- they were the cutest little duo ever!
Ryker loved the swings and the bounce houses! He also loved the fact that all these people were handing him candy like there was no tomorrow! Sometimes he would buypass the game and head straight to the candy- luckily these people understood the mindset of a 2 year old and just handed over the suckers! :)
My dad and his family was there- Nick & Danielle showed up- and my friend Danielle and her two little ones were there too.

After the carnival- we went back to East Lake and hit up a few houses trick or treating. Ryker was a salty pro after about 3 houses!! But then he got tired and hitched a ride home in the wagon with Everett :) It was a great day!!

Shooby Doobies down to Ruby's!

Dinner at Ruby's Diner with the kiddies. They got matching balloon creatures made- suposively this is a man on a motorcycle- I couldn't see it but either way the boys loved them! They had to have the same exact ones :)

Walking up to the restaurant, big girl Libery held both the boys hands to walk across the street and it was really the cutest thing I have ever seen! Such a good big sister she is!!

Swimming at the Kiddie Pool

Ryker, Wyatt, & Liberty loved the little kiddie pool in East Lake Village! The pool is only 1 1/2 feet deep all the way throughout so they just wade through it without it getting deep. They were too cute- when Ryker got in, Wyatt got in, when Wyatt got out, Ryker got out. But Liberty kept them in order if they got unruly- such a good big sister! :)

Fiesta Days Parade 10/25/08

My best friend, Danielle, and her little ones, Liberty & Wyatt, came down from Northern California for two weeks. Our first adventure was the Fiesta Days Parade in Yorba Linda. While we didn't quite make it in time for the parade- we all know how punctual I am- we did go to the little gathering afterwards. I hadn't been to this deal since I was probably 12 and in girl scouts :) So I really didn't have too high of expectations. But it was pretty cute. There were little booths put on by local Yorba Linda communities and businesses. Little things for the kiddies to do- hey, anything with a jumpie is a good thing in my book ;-)

The pictures are from the playground that was right next to wear the festivities were being held- we spent a good majority of our time here. Ryker and Wyatt were so adorable- like two little peas in a pod. They just followed eachother around the whole time. And little Libby was their teacher- it was too cute!!!
